Working home today, sunshine and 20 degrees -spring is back!
Last week in Stockholm now, moving back to Malmo on friday.. It will be so nice, even though I don't have any money to do anything, hahaha!
Last week, 30th of april, we celebrated Valborg here in Sweden. It's an old holiday when wecelebrate the end of the winter by singing and lightning huge bonfires of woods here and there. I was in Uppsala, a student-city not long from Sthlm, and celebrated the student way which was:
At 8 AM we hade Champagne-and-porrige-breakfast. Then we packed our bags with LOTS of delicious food and beer, and went to a park were we shared all the food and beer in the sun. In the afternoon we went to a champagne-race which means that you listen to a speach by the principle of the university (noone can hear a word) and when he waves his student-hat everyone runs to the student-unions and drink lots of champagne and poor it on each other. At about 5 am, we stopped by a couple of parties and then went home to sleep. At 8 pm the barbeque was up and we ate huge amounts of meat and drank more beer. At about 9 pm we went to a party, and then to the student-union again were we danced till 4 am when the server "dinner" and you can eat as much as you like! At 5:30 am I had no trouble going to sleep...
ok, now I got bad conscience and think I'll go study, hahaha!
