Jelen pivo (deer beer) is the name of a beer brand in Serbia with notable popularity. Jelen is a really low-cost lager beer but never as cheap as Bip, a.k.a. plastic beer. It's a first choice for construction workers, grocery store alcoholics, and foreign students without central heating during cold winters in Belgrade. Some of them might be alcoholic, too. Many years of hard-core drinking makes this beverage unique. Apatinska pivara (deer beer brewery) really saved our asses back in Serbia providing cheap and good enough drinking stuff.
